Needless to say I am finding a new veterinarian.
Next up, a few months later, my dog had diarrhea. I understand - no visit - no meds. The earliest appointment they had was 5 days away.
The "free" neutering had already cost $200 so I was already not pleased with their plans.
Received wonderful care from staff and vet for our puppies check ups.
I asked if he could be seen sooner or at least given something to alleviate the diarrhea... and they answer was, no meds but yes, he can be seen sooner...for a $70 drop off fee.
I have my dog on the monthly wellness plan.
I have been taking my cats to banfield for 3 years. We have been a part of their Wellness plan the entire time. As time has gone on, it has become increasingly difficult to schedule appointments and finally today, due to lack of availability on their end, I had to schedule my cat a visit at another vet. So now I am wasting my money on their Wellness plan. I am extremely upset and I can't even cancel the plan because there is a large cancellation fee so now I'm stuck with it until it is time to renew again.
I called the Polaris Banfield and they said they NEVER charge for that, you may just have to wait longer than usual.
This place is terrible. So we pay monthly on there health plan for our puppy. They keep changing there rules at this place and they dont tell you till you are there. So first time we took our puppy no problem. Got him checked and got his meds no problem. Second time came around got him checked out no problem then they say o no you gotta wait hours for his proscription because you gotta call it in. Like really it takes you 5 seconds to put his meds in a pill bottle. But what ever. Well now i have an appointment at 9 am yesterday got there and they wanted me To leave him there for like 4-5 hours. And i didn’t know this till I wasted my time getting there. I wasn’t leaving my dog in there cage for 4-5 hours so they can look at him for 5 seconds. Just got a check up. It’s like they was trying to give him surgery! I’m done with banfield.
Just took my 1 year old dog there for the first time today. Everyone was absolutely amazing. It was more expensive then my last vet but the care was worth. So glad I found a vet that is great with my baby girl. She couldn't stop kissing his face even as he was messing with her infected ear. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing great pet care.
