The second assistant, the one who worked on the three cavities on the opposite side of my wife's mouth, was on the opposite side of the spectrum. It took over two hours for him to do three fillings and the whole time he was doing them he was digging his finger into the back of my wife's cheek until she was unable to stop from crying out of frustration and pain. He was working on a silver filling and it broke twice which was what finally pushed my wife over the edge (he had been working on that tooth for over 45mins already at that point).
My girlfriend, her mother and myself went here last week. They've been regulars for some time. Last week, myself and her mother was able to sit in with my girlfriend while she got her teeth worked on. My girlfriend doesn't handle the dentist too well. This week, when my girlfriend came back for more work, they said only one person was allowed back, due to overcrowding, when we were in the same exact room as last week. Comfort Dental said that it was hard to work on my girlfriend's teeth because there were two people. Comfort Dental obviously does not care about their clients. I will not be recommending Comfort Dental to anyone who is looking for dental work.
After the last time she went in to get the mistakes fixed she has refused to go back, she has two wisdom teeth that have grown in VERY painfully over the course of the last year but, aside from knocking her out and dragging her, there is no way I can get her to go back to the dentist.
My wife is on Medicaid so maybe this is just how they treat medicaid patients, use them as free living guinea pigs for their interns, I don't have any other experiences to compare it to at this place but with the higher ratings on here I'm guessing those patients had way different experiences from the ones my wife dealt with.
Dr. Malhi and his staff were very nice. Dr. Malhi removed some teeth of mine with ease with no pain felt.
Absolutely nothing comforting about this place! My wife had to have 6 fillings done on one side and 3 on the other.
Not experienced. My doctor could not fix my tongue.
On all four of the occasions my wife had work done/went back to have mistakes fixed (the second assistant failed to properly align her bite and she had horrible throbbing pain in her gums/jaw for over two weeks before finally giving in and going back to have them check what was wrong) she saw the actual dentist for a total of about 5mins before being tossed off to what I can only assume were dental assistant students.
The assistant who did the six fillings did them within 45mins but she fused all three top and bottom molars into two giant chunks of fillings! My wife said she basically just stuck the fillings on and then mushed them down with her fingers and called it done, and she was extremely proud of herself for doing it so fast! My wife had to go back to have them properly drilled down because she couldn't floss at all and the assistant she talked to told her "Yea...I don't think that's what happened" then proceeded to snap a piece of floss while attempting to force it between my wife's molars (in an attempt to prove my wife was lying/exaggerating about the state of her fillings).
Do yourself a favor avoid this place! There is never anyone to check you in, even when walking back to do so. The ladies at the front desk are rude. I see them always playing on their phone as well as the blonde dental assistant. I can constantly hear one of their phones going off with fb notifications. They don't take their time or care about how its done. My old man had partials done here, they never fit right even after having them adjusted 3 times. Can't go elsewhere for a new set because they took up the 1 pair he gets in 8 years the insurance will cover and wont correct the issue they created!! AVOID THIS PLACE!!
